Ricky is a Board-Certified Music Therapist and Licensed Creative Arts Therapist in the State of New York, who earned his master’s degree in Music Therapy from New York University. He has been practicing music therapy since 2013, with experience in young adult and adult outpatient and inpatient psychiatric settings, and has also worked with children and young adults with neurodevelopment differences at the Rebecca School in New York City. He has presented nationally and internationally on his work with trauma and the use of music technology in music therapy. He is an adjunct faculty member at NYU and has also taught at the undergraduate level at Anna Maria College.
